I told Melissa SP Lion to blog and now I have to blog in return. I really should think more before I comment something on the internet. Now I have to WORK instead of just staring at the internet. God.
I’ve been happily blogging up a storm over on Blogtown. Yesterday I wrote a recap of Friday’s episode of Dollhouse and this morning I posted about the Guardian’s new Open Platform deal-y which makes all their research and data available to ANYONE ON THE INTERNET. Which seems important somehow. I’ll let other people figure out the somehow. I’m just a blogger. What do I know?
We are in the process of figuring out the cheapest way possible to get either just me or Dane and myself to Portland for this Friday’s BSG nerdsravaganza at the Bagdad. Katee Sackhoff is going to be there and of course, as is my wont, I will try to get her to touch my hair. Or vice versa. It doesn’t matter anymore. I swing both ways in regards to the hair touching.
And tonight I have the distinct privilege of being io9’s Charlie Jane Anders’ plus one for the Race to Witch Mountain screening. Ferik Penriksen and Alison Hallett are attending the same movie in Portland and he thinks it’s going to be awesome. I disagree COMPLETELY. It’s going to be god awful. We’ve made a bet about this. I am going to win.
There has also been a mighty change in the Hesselbee household – for the absolute BEST – but I will blog about that tomorrow after we tell family first and no, I am not pregnant. That will never, ever happen. NO BABIES.
Also, Whiskey woke me up this morning with a tail full of poop in my face. I’m the luckiest girl in the world.

Do you happen to know how the nerdstravaganza will go down? Will there be a Q&A before or after with Katee Sackhoff? Or is she just there for us to ogle? If it’s just the latter, I’m quite fine with that!
i am waiting with baited breath for this announcement! i hope it doesn’t have to do with some self-imposed TV restrictions. some people think that is “for the best”, but really it’s just sad.
