Happy belated birthday, Kiala. Here’s a bit of flattery to help distract you from the lateness and the no gift — you and I interacted once, and it was memorable. (For me.) I was “Farmer Dale” during one of the Mercury Livebloggings of one of the presidential debates, and one of my oh-so-witty comments got a brief response out of you — or perhaps the unpaid intern performing your liveblogging duties that night.

Oh, sweet sweet memories.

As for Melissa Lion, she’s an exact 7/8 scale replica of my old girlfriend — terrifying and alluring all at once. Fortunately I only miss 1/7 of her but I was specifically promised in high school I would not need to retain the small amount of math I learned so I’ll leave it at that.
