The Hills: The Recap.

We finally watched The Hills season premiere last night and I would very much like someone to tell me what happened to the other 27 minutes of the episode? Because what we watched? About five minutes of rehashing the same Audrina/Lauren/Lo love triangle and Spencer being a hungover douchetroll.

Oh, and Lauren went on a date with a talking set of dentures.

Did anything else happen?

Next week’s episode had better be um, I don’t know…MORE.

*Also, I still stand firm regarding my stance on healthy food blogging other than Couch Cubicle (Arielle gets a pass because she knows the difference between their and there and she is irreverently funny).

I have changed my stance on food blogs because of WTF’s comments. I am now changing my blog to only a food blog and I will post each CALORIE I consume. That’s about 2000 posts a day. It’ll be off the hook.

I will tell you where those 27 minutes went — straight to the clips they show all effing week before the show airs!

Also - Doug or whatever his name is [zomg, same name as my creepy masseuse] looked at her like he was hungry - and she was a tiny baby kitten made of jerky.

After Mad Men are we going to watch it ?? Like, we can get in our PJs and braid your hair [mine is too short!] and talk about what beezies our friends are!?

Well thank you. I was an English major, after all. I know all about The Canterbury Tales, too, if you’re interested in that sort of thing.

My theory is that they put so much effort into the previews for each episode, they loose all steam when it comes to putting the actual episode together. Doesn’t every preview seem like its going to be the BEST. HILLS. EVER?

And dude, there was a 10 minute commercial break last night. Wtf?

being a house guest at heidi’s looked awkward and uncomfortable. how does SHE get those fancy handbags?? after watching heidi i always get the urge to pop balloons.
