You were wearing a lovely, silky, sheer flower top from Forever 21. And a saucy black dress from, what I can assume, would be a store called Forever 21.

Also, other words you could have used besides “overwhelming” include …
- daunting
- anxiety ridden
- you felt an ineffable nervousness

… all good choices.

Thank you, everyone. I had half a beer, and I truly am the delicatest of the delicate flowers because I woke this morning and cried big hanxiety tears because I was sure PORTLAND HATES ME. I’m only slightly better and going back to my month of sobriety because half a beer and I have a hangover? That’s just wrong.

And yes, we are both up in the Merc. Look out Alison and Matt, we’re taking over.

I can’t think of any pregnant woman who was warm, relaxed summer feelings… more like bloated, puffy, sweaty, summer hate.

I talked to The Dane at intermission and it was so much fun! He was holding together very well despite the yucky heat. He demanded that the next venue have air conditioning — but the next Back Fence is in October, so Urban Grind will be delightfully cozy by then. Fun fact: He is Norwegian! I love learning new things.

I agree that Matt Davis’s story was amazing. I liked how they (Frayn & Melissa) pulled out the English accent for the big finale – smart move!
