Robert- You should listen to the Evan Dando stuff from that movie Heavy with Live Tyler. It’s very good.

aidywi – I agree about the dvr’s but there is something a little romantic and serendipitous about a movie being on at just the right moment in time. For instance, maybe you’ve just left your husband of two years because he is an alcoholic and Factotum is suddenly playing on HBO.

Like that.

What if something’s on TV and never shown again?

Thank heavens for DVRs, because I’m not afraid to leave the house anymore. Well, uhh, except maybe when Ax Men is on. There’s something about those foul-mouthed, grain alcohol-swillin’, finger-missin’ loggers that lures me right in.

I’ve owned “It’s a Shame About Ray” for a long time now, and I’ve only listened to it once.

Also, my freshman year in college, I was in a band who did a cover of the Lemonheads’ cover of “Mrs. Robinson” and I still remember the bassline.

That is all the Lemonheads stuff I got.
